Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) is among the 41 large private-sector companies in Greece that have been awarded the “Diversity Label” for the first time.

The distinction is an important institutional initiative of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, recognising companies that implement policies and practices promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 18, at the Byzantine and Christian Museum, during a special event organised by the ministry.

The initiative highlights companies that move from commitment to action, embedding inclusion into their daily operations through transparent procedures, equal opportunities, accessible practices and fair treatment of employees.

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. is listed first among the 41 companies awarded the Diversity Label, based on the chronological order in which applications were finalised. For the company, the distinction confirms its consistent commitment to creating a modern, safe and inclusive working environment in which all employees are treated with respect and have equal opportunities for professional development.

The Diversity Label was received on behalf of PPA by its CEO, Su Xudong, in the presence of the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs, Domna Michailidou, the Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Dimitris Papastergiou, and the Deputy Minister for Equality and Human Rights, Elena Rapti.
