MSC\u2019s philosophy is based on the view that the cruise experience extends beyond the ship or the port to encompass the entire destination.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the company is seeking direct dialogue with municipalities, regional authorities, port bodies, chambers of commerce, tour guides, travel agencies, transport operators and local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Similar meetings have already been held in Thessaloniki, Kavala, Syros, Rhodes and Piraeus, with the aim of directly identifying the needs of each destination and seeking solutions to issues affecting the visitor experience.<\/p>\n<h2>Four key priorities<\/h2>\n<p>MSC has outlined four key priorities for further strengthening the cruise industry in Greece.<\/p>\n<p>The first priority is the promotion of new destinations over the next five years, in cooperation with the state and industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>The second priority focuses on the need to increase the number of tour guides on the Greek islands, so that cruise ship visits&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naftemporiki.gr\/english\/2178982\/msc-four-priorities-for-the-future-of-cruising-in-greece\/?utm_source=rss&#038;utm_medium=rss&#038;utm_campaign=msc-four-priorities-for-the-future-of-cruising-in-greece\">\u0394\u0399\u0391\u0392\u0391\u03a3\u03a4\u0395 \u039f\u039b\u039f \u03a4\u039f \u0391\u03a1\u0398\u03a1\u039f \u0395\u0394\u03a9<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MSC is focusing on closer cooperation between the cruise industry, local communities, ports and the tourism market, seeking to ensure that the sector\u2019s growth in Greece is accompanied by improved infrastructure and greater economic benefits for destinations.
