Coffeeco Upcycle has announced strategic partnerships with three major industry players—Empiria Group, Blue Hotels & Resorts, and Attica Group.
According to the company’s statement, the agreements mark a new phase in the application of circular economy principles within the tourism sector, transforming coffee waste into high-value raw materials used in cosmetic care products. Alongside the new partnerships, Coffeeco has also expanded its board of directors.
Details of the Agreements
Under the agreements, Coffeeco’s Auraskin cosmetic products will be introduced across all properties of Empiria Group and Blue Hotels & Resorts, offering guests an “authentic sustainable luxury experience” that combines high-quality amenities with the knowledge that each product is derived from recycled coffee.
At the same time, Attica Group is continuing for a second year to integrate Auraskin shower gels into its maritime routes, providing passengers with personal care products made from recycled coffee consumed on board, thereby reinforcing its environmental sustainability strategy.
With Auraskin products already in use across hotel chains, Coffeeco Upcycle is not merely announcing a new direction but actively implementing it. “Every consumer using these products in a hotel or on a vessel contributes directly to a circular economy model that turns waste into real value,” the company noted.
